Cooperativa Agrária Agroindustrial has been certified to the ProTerra Standard since 2016 as a result of its long-term sustainability activities, by providing guidance and encouraging its members to continuously improve in the management of their properties. The Programa Agrária de Gestão Rural (PAGR) is the pillar of the requirements that its members have to meet in terms of environmental, labour and health and safety criteria.
Being certified to the ProTerra Standard has enabled Agrária to guarantee the traceability of its entire production chain and to export its products to foreign markets, adding value to the cooperative´s production.
