We are pleased to announce that Emese Brósz will take up her new position as Managing Director of the ProTerra Foundation from the beginning of August.
“Emese will bring a broad experience in the sustainability field and is very motivated to grow the ProTerra Foundation and the ProTerra Standard into the most significant milestone in the agricultural, food and feed supply chains”, says Augusto Freire, Chair of the Board of Directors of the ProTerra Foundation.
“After being many years a part of the Board of Directors, I am looking forward to taking the next step and supporting the ProTerra Foundation on its journey as the new Managing Director to contribute to the overall success of the organization” adds Emese.
Emese Brosz has a strong background in the international agricultural sector, having developed and led responsible raw material procurement, CSR and sustainability for large Switzerland- and Netherlands-based agricultural cooperatives whilst simultaneously serving on the Boards of several standard organizations for many years. Before that, she worked and lived in other European countries and was the CEE sales and marketing manager of a leading international group of laboratories. Emese is an agricultural engineer with an additional university degree in agricultural sciences and an advanced federal diploma as Foreign Trade Specialist. She also obtained a DBA in Change management.
