NonGM Soy Conference 2025 Highlights Industry Resilience and Global Collaboration

Earlier this month, Frankfurt hosted the Non-GM Soy Conference 2025, an event that once again proved how strong and united the non-GMO community truly is. Jointly organised by Donau Soja Association and the ProTerra Foundation, the event brought together close to ninety participants from twenty countries – representing every link in the non-GMO supply chain, from producers to retailers.

Throughout the day, discussions centred not only on market developments and sustainability trends, but also on the collective spirit driving the industry forward. Despite facing economic and regulatory challenges, there was an optimistic mood, reflecting a shared commitment to transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What stood out most was the sense of resilience within the sector. Participants reaffirmed that international cooperation, across regions and between organisations, remains essential. Both Donau Soja and ProTerra were recognised as trusted partners helping the industry navigate uncertainty while supporting the adoption of robust sustainability practices through credible certification.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, expertise and enthusiasm to this event, as well as to our sponsors: Caramuru Alimentos S.A., Eurofins, FoodChain ID and Nateeo Srl.

Looking ahead, the key conclusion is clear: non-GMO is not only a market, but also a business choice and a path to sustainability. The insights, connections, and inspiration shared in Frankfurt will continue to shape a more resilient and responsible global supply chain.
