ProTerra RegenAg Module – Public Consultation

The ProTerra Foundation’s mission is to be a global network of businesses supporting more sustainable agricultural practices, in the food and feed supply chains.

We envisage a world where all businesses contribute to the protection of biodiversity by switching to sustainable production, conserving natural resources and ensuring that local communities are treated with dignity and respect.

In line with our vision and our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are supporting the transition to regenerative agriculture. This approach improves soil health and biodiversity, helps to decrease emissions, conserves water and contributes to more resilient ecosystems.

In response to the growing demand for credible and practical regenerative agriculture frameworks, the ProTerra Foundation has developed a Regenerative Agriculture (RegenAg) Module to support this transformation. Companies looking to implement regenerative practices can adopt this optional module alongside the ProTerra Standard V5.0 and the ProTerra MRV V1.0, which offers a more straightforward and cost-effective certification process.

We are pleased to announce the launch of a public consultation on the RegenAg Module draft. The consultation will be open until 07 September 2025.
