ADM Soy Crush Plant in Straubing, Germany, receives ProTerra Certification and Non-GMO Certification for Feed Ingredients

The Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE:ADM) oilseeds plant in Straubing, Germany, has engaged in a certification programme under ProTerra Standard and is now able to supply customers with ProTerra Sustainable and Non-GMO certified feed ingredients, including meal and oil. ADM has also become a member of the ProTerra Foundation.

The ProTerra Certified programme for Non-GMO food and feed ingredients ensures continuous Non-GMO quality controlling during the soy crush process and fulfills EC regulation requirements No1829/2003.

ProTerra is one of the leading sustainability certifications for soy suppliers and buyers in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia and Ukraine, and more to come in the near future. “Sustainability does not stop at national borders, and ADM is showing their global partnership in finding workable solutions to connecting more sustainable supply chains from origin to destination markets,” stated Augusto Freire, Chairman of the ProTerra Foundation.
